Step-by-Step Guide to Removing Characters in Aion 2

Step 1: Open the Character Selection Screen
- Exit any current game session to return to the main title screen.
- From here, you’ll see your full character roster, including all active characters on your account.
Step 2: Empty the Character Inventory
Before deletion, it’s crucial to safeguard your valuable items:
- Move items: Transfer your Kinah, upgrade materials, and any unbound items to your account warehouse.
- Clear mail: Check your character’s mailbox for items you may have received.
- Warning: Deleting a character permanently erases everything in that character’s personal inventory and mailbox. Items left behind cannot be recovered.
Step 3: Select the Character
- Click on the portrait or model of the character you want to remove.
- Make sure you’re choosing the correct character; deletion is irreversible once completed.
Step 4: Initiate Deletion
- Look for the Delete Character button, usually at the bottom of the character panel.
- Clicking it will bring up a confirmation pop-up to prevent accidental deletions.
Step 5: Type the Confirmation Phrase
- In the pop-up box, type the exact confirmation phrase as shown (commonly “Confirm Delete” or its localized equivalent).
- Press Confirm or OK to finalize the request.
Important Rules & Cool-off Timers
- Pending Deletion: Characters enter a grace period before being fully removed. The length depends on the character’s level—higher-level characters may take a few days to delete.
- Canceling Deletion: If you change your mind, you can select the pending character and click Cancel Deletion to instantly restore it.
- Server Restrictions: During high population periods or server locks, you may need to wait before creating a new character in the cleared slot.
